Abandoneer is a relatively new abandonware site, but it's quality is not to be mocked.
At the time of writing Abandoneer has been around just over half a year and already has an impressive range of titles available for download - each one features a good quality lengthy review, typically box-art and multiple screenshots, as well as standard information on the games publisher (and any technical notes of interest)
The site looks quite original, the design is sort of futuristic / industrial and is very good, the colourscheme fits perfectly and the layout is intuitive.
The site also posts abandonware scene news and findings within their own news section - the site is updated quite regularly, usually on a daily basis.
Abandoneer was founded by someone relatively fresh to the abandonware scene - and someone who is doing an excellent job. |
